Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pasta
  • 1 can Crushed tomatoes
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

How to make it

Some steps are brief. Read all directions first, check ingredient packaging for specific cooking instructions, and confirm doneness and food safety before serving.

  1. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil.
  2. Add the pasta and cook for the time on its package. Save half a cup of cooking water, then drain.
  3. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  4. Put the tomatoes and garlic in a saucepan over medium heat. Once gently bubbling, reduce the heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cream cheese over low heat until the sauce looks smooth.
  6. Add the pasta and stir gently. Add a little saved water if the sauce is too thick.

Check package directions, ingredient suitability and safe cooking temperatures before serving. Timings are estimates.
